Academia, research centers and think tanks

On the one hand, higher education institutions, which are relevant to the development of our “Human Talent and Culture” pillar, through our position as employer of and source for talent attraction and consolidation. Additionally, research centers and think tanks, which involve a specific interest from the point of view of our business, or are relevant for issues related to developing the territories and corporate responsibility.

This group of stakeholders consists of the following subgroups:

  • Higher Education Institutions: these are relevant for the development of our “Human Talent and Culture” pillar through our position as an employer brand and source of talent attraction and consolidation. We also strengthen our “Knowledge” pillar to create value and make better decisions.
  • Research centers and Think tanks: they may be independent entities, or groups affiliated with universities. In addition, they differ according to the role they perform. Some have a specific interest from the point of view of the dynamics of our business and others are relevant because of issues related to the development of the territories and corporate responsibility.

  • Promote the attraction of the most qualified professionals in the Latin American labor market, and position ourselves as an employer brand with the outlook of a business group.
  • Create capabilities to improve decision-making.
  • Position Grupo SURA as a relevant actor for social development and people’s well-being.

Research centers and think tanks:

  • Build shared knowledge based on systematic analysis and visualization of trends and the environment.
  • Create capabilities to improve decision-making.
  • Position Grupo SURA as a relevant actor for building knowledge, social development, and people’s well-being.
