Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (Grupo SURA) hereby announces that the Board of Directors of its subsidiary Suramericana S.A. approved to summon the Shareholders General Assembly to an extraordinary meeting, to approve a Spin-off by which Seguros de Vida Suramericana S.A. shall transfer as a whole a portion of assets (consisting in a portfolio of investments) to Suramericana S.A., with the purpose to obtain capital efficiencies.
