Grupo SURA has been readmitted to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the fifth year running

September 10, 2015 Grupo SURA continues to be the only Latin American company from the Diversified Financial Service sector and the Capital Markets to be listed with the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, based on the new ranking released today. This honor was received for the fifth straight year with Grupo SURA joining a total of 317 other companies listed in this year´s Index. As part of its corporate policies, Grupo SURA has always sought to maintain a comprehensive, coherent and long-term strategy and remain at the forefront of best business practices in terms of sustainability, which means achieving a sound economic performance and upholding consistent environmental, social and corporate governance strategies. This year, the Company did very well with regard to the environmental dimension, particularly in terms of the following two aspects: its handling of risk and opportunities as well as its the climate change strategy. As for the economic dimension, the Company's brand governance, tax strategy, supply chain management and handling of its client relationships were also given positive ratings. Finally, with regard to the Company's social dimension, the review panel made special mention of the Company's engagement with its stakeholders, the development of its human capital and its work in terms of its corporate citizenship.
