Santiago holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, an MBA from EAFIT University, and recently completed the Global Advanced Management Program at IE University in Madrid, Spain.

With more than 18 years of professional experience, he has led risk management, corporate strategy, and control functions across financial institutions. Since joining Grupo SURA in 2019, he has held several leadership positions within the Risk Management and Corporate Strategy functions. He currently serves as Internal Audit Manager at Grupo SURA.
