Grupo SURA announces that, during its latest Board of Directors meeting held on July 30, 2026, Santiago Merino Jaramillo was appointed as the Company's Internal Audit Manager.

Santiago holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, an MBA from Universidad EAFIT, and recently completed the Global Advanced Management Program at IE University in Madrid, Spain.

Over the course of more than 18 years of professional experience, he has led risk management, corporate strategy, and control functions within organizations in the financial sector. Since joining Grupo SURA in 2019, he has held various positions in risk management and corporate strategy, serving as Risk and Strategy Manager for the past six years.

With this appointment, Grupo SURA reaffirms its commitment to strengthening its corporate governance, control, and management practices, while continuing to build a leadership team focused on fostering trust among the Company's stakeholders and advancing the execution of its corporate strategy.
