Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. (Grupo SURA) hereby reports that it proceeded to close the sale of its annuity business that was previously handled by its Chilean subsidiary, SURA Seguros de Rentas Vitalicias S.A (SURA Chile).

The buyers, namely Sociedad Inversiones Bice Chileconsult S.A. and BICECORP S. A, acquired a 100% stake in SURA Chile’s share capital for a total value of CLP 141,158,233,355, or USD 214 million aprox.

This announcement supplements the relevant information that Grupo SURA provided the market beforehand on March 7th, October 30th, November 16th and March 4 2019, relating to the different stages that were completed with the transaction.
