​ In compliance with current reporting requirements, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana S.A. hereby announces that today the merger between Seguros Generales Suramericana S.A., as absorbing company, and Royal & Sun Alliance Seguros (Colombia) S.A., the absorbed company, was duly completed. The aforementioned entities are subsidiaries of Suramericana S.A. which in turn forms part of the SURA Business Group as its specialized insurance and risk/trend management company.   Consequently the assets of both the absorbing and absorbed companies have been combined and Royal & Sun Alliance Seguros (Colombia) S.A. has been dissolved without being wound up. This newly merged company shall be hereinafter known as Seguros Generales Suramericana S.A. (Seguros SURA).​
